Meet The Founder....

We Responders Inc. was founded by Nicole Bryant, whose deep personal commitment to emergency response training stems from a lifetime of witnessing the urgent need for preparedness in her own community. Growing up in Baltimore City, Nicole experienced firsthand the critical gaps in readiness for life-threatening situations in an area facing daily challenges from high crime rates and medical emergencies. Her passion for change intensified after experiencing heartbreaking personal losses, including the death of her father due to a fentanyl overdose and the tragic loss of her 1-year-old nephew in 2020. These painful experiences ignited Nicole’s resolve to ensure that others would have the resources and skills to help prevent similar tragedies.

Driven by a vision to bridge this preparedness gap, Nicole founded We Responders Inc. in 2022. The organization is dedicated to training everyday people in essential life-saving skills like CPR, Stop the Bleed, and emergency response, particularly within underserved and high-risk communities. Nicole’s approach is unique—alongside practical skills, We Responders offers trauma-informed care and mental health support, addressing both immediate emergencies and the long-term wellbeing of community members.

Since its inception, We Responders has empowered thousands to become first responders within their neighborhoods, ready to act when every second counts. Recently, Nicole expanded the organization’s mission to include overdose and substance abuse awareness training for youth and adults, aiming to prevent other families from enduring the life-changing losses she has faced. Nicole’s story and unwavering dedication continue to drive We Responders’ mission to build safer, more resilient communities for all.
